As I returned to Oklahoma with my wife and five children, I recognized that if good people do nothing to preserve their own government, we get what we get. As a combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan and soldier for 21 years, I have gained a new appreciation for our democracy and what a treasure Oklahoma is. But my service and experience also tells me that our government is drifting away from the public interest for the special interest. Family values we once viewed as secure are now under assault. Businesses are penalized for their hard work rather than allowed to create jobs and growth for all Oklahomans. Property owners are burdened each year with a new spate of taxes. We must do better. I believe we can aggressively move forward as a state without abandoning the heritage we share and I will fight for the people in Moore, Mustang and south Oklahoma City as well as for all Oklahomans in the State Senate.
Keep government focused on the issues that best serve the public interest, like strong families, aiding our law enforcers, public safety, roads and bridges, school standards and choices, easing the burden on the elderly and finding homes for the orphan.
Pro-Life
Protect the life of the unborn and promote adoption. Three of my five children are adopted.
Oklahoma Values
Stand up for Oklahoma values like traditional marriage, gun owner rights and individual responsibility.
Better Life For Oklahomans
Create a better life for Oklahomans by improving the business climate, easing the tax burden, reforming our tort and health care access.
Veterans Affairs
Fight for our veterans and provide clarity as to the needs our returning National Guard and active soldiers face. We must help them with the help they need, not the kind that helps politicians.
